Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct

DPOD has adopted a policy of zero tolerance in relation to corruption and has developed an Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct in accordance with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' general anti-corruption policy. DPOD's Code of Conduct is a tool for both the Danish organisation, partner organisations in the South and other partners to have a common understanding of what corruption and corrupt behavior entail. At the same time, it gives instructions on how to deal with suspicions of corruption.

The Disabled People’s Organisations Denmark (DPOD) Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct prescribes a policy of zero tolerance towards corruption. Its guiding principle is a high standard of work ethics as well as personal and organisational integrity, both internally and externally with partners. The target group of the Code of Conduct is DPOD personnel, DPOD member organisations and partner organisations in the South, including expatriate personnel.

The purpose of the Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct is:

  • To ensure that all parties involved in DPOD development cooperation work in a responsible manner and with a high standard of personal and organisational integrity
  • To outline the actions to be taken in the event of suspicion or certainty of fraud, misuse or serious irregularities in connection with DPOD development cooperation (including the Framework Agreement funds and the Danish Disability grants)
